After she graduated from Tallahassee Florida high school, she enrolled at Boston University and continued her training. Later, she transferred to Rhodes College & University of Florida. Her passion for acting began at the age of a young girl. She attended acting classes and dance lessons. In 2006, Lucy's Piano was her first role as an actor. She left college to move to LA and begin pursuing an acting career. Her debut film appearance was 17 Again from 2009. Then she played the character as Alice McKee as she appeared in Blood: The Last Vampire which is a film based on fantasy and action. Her major TV breakthrough when she starred in an important role in the television series called Kings in 2009. Her other television roles comprise Terra Nova Go On (a series) as well as Selfie. In the more recent years she appeared playing one of the lead roles in the family drama series titled A Million Little Things and an additional part in the show titled 13 Reasons Why.
