Awkwafina

Awkwafina was an American actress and musician. Her first release was funny, well-written lyrics in rap that dealt with topics like race as well as sexuality. She then expanded her audience to Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants was her very first musical experience. She was a trumpet player. Then, she started the classical and hip-hop genres. Following a focus on education, she graduated with a degree in journalism in college and a women's studies degree. She didn't start focusing on music until she finished her studies. Her track in 2012 My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success on the Internet and was later released on her debut album Yellow Ranger in 2014. It also included other hit songs that went viral, such as the body-positive Queef and winking hometown tour NYC Bitche$. The track that was second on the album linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide published in the year 2015, and was an additional project. Her resume included both author and musician. She was now looking to further her career in acting. Apart from early series like Girl Code and Tawk she was also featured in movies like Neighbors 2. Storks and Bad Rap. In 2018, she scored breakthrough roles in a handful of high-profile films like Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. Then in June, she launched the EP In Fina We Trust.
