Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Elis Taylor is an American screen and stage actor and producer. Her most well-known work is as a film actress for her role on the films Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She earned an undergraduate degree in African-American Studies at Brown University, and a Master in Fine Arts in Acting from the Tisch School for the Arts New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis is a producer as well as an American actor active in the theatre in film, television, and theatre. She started acting on stage and then appeared in independent, mainstream as well as television shows. Her most well-known roles were as Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) as well as on BET's epic The Book of Negroes. The series both received reviews, and she also won a lot of accolades. Her career began as an actress in 1995, when she appeared as Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest. Her stage credits include The Broadway performance of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. The most recognizable part of her career is her role in the series Men of Honor, The Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. She is also well-known for her role on ABC's crime show High Incident.
