Actor and country-pop singer and writer Jana Kramer rose to fame through television, where she was part of the cast on One Tree Hill as Alex for its final three seasons. Kramer was in numerous episodes as a brand new country music artist. This helped her debut album reach the Billboard 200 Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album from 2015, reached in the Top Ten. As she ended the decade with a performance on Dancing with the Stars. In 2021, she released The self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer began acting in 2002, while she was a young teenager. Born in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer has a background in the country genre. She appeared in guest spots for All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights for the second season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer next appeared in 90210 as Portia Randson between 2008 and 2009, and as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. She then joined One Tree Hill's cast as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the character until the middle of the final season One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer Kramer, during her time as Alex Dupre, on One Tree Hill signed with Elektra Records. She debuted the contemporary song "I Won't Give Up in a 2011. One Tree Hill episode. It was featured later on her debut album in the mid-2012 timeframe. The singer focused her attention on her singing career while still acting and starred in films that appealed her fans including Heart of the Country 2013 & Country Crush 2016. The second album of Kramer's Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th, 2015. The Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy as well as her Duet Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed in the album helped to make it #3 in the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the chart for country albums. The album was released after a period of two months during 23rd Dancing with the Stars season her final score was 4th. She also scored an adult contemporary hit in the form of Feels like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
